A couple of weeks ago I noticed a serious lack of lightness in my denim collection. I always slip into my black or darker washes and while I’m sure i’ll continue to wear the darker shades in heavy rotation, I thought it’d be nice to bring in a little lightness. These fit like a dream, the midrise is just so comfortable and the color perfectly casual.

Per my request I usually receive a gift card for birthdays or holidays from my Dad. Seems much easier and more kind than sending him out into a department store trying to pick something out for his insanely picky daughter. Never one to rush into a purchase I waited a couple of months until I found a pair that really jumped out at me. Well worth the wait. Maybe the most perfect nude shoe I’ve stumpled across. Can’t wait to pair these with my new light jbrands and a soft white oversized sweater for chilly summer nights. So thanks Dad, perfect bday present:)
